1-LS1-1 Escaping Rattlesnakes

Students use their understanding that different animals use their body parts in different ways to hear, protect themselves and move from place to place  to explain with evidence how the shape and structure of the kangaroo rat’s body helps them avoid rattlesnakes.

4-ESS2-2 Nevada Mountain Ranges

Students will analyze and interpret data, from maps, to construct an explanation that  the location of Nevada’s mountain ranges show evidence of patterns.
