IBM is hosting a Summer Skills Build Challenge; a ready-made, virtual summer offering that requires minimal teacher intervention. You could leverage the challenge as a fun supplement to summer school programming, register your students to participate on their own or share with your partners and network. Students will have the chance to earn digital badges, gain technical and professional skills, and earn prizes along the way.

This is a great way to introduce students and educators to emerging technology with IBM for the first time, while also relieving the burden of planning for the summer after a tough school year.

You can see an overview of the challenge here or get educators to start registering here.
