These one-of-a-kind LIVE virtual events bring students and educators out into field with scientists and professionals to bring engaging topics virtually right to your computer or device. Students K-12 can take part in two-way questions and answer scenarios from expert guest speakers. Register with link below, educators will have to register to share the presentation during distant learning instruction by screen sharing and having students spotlight the presentation, or if share in your classroom if your students have returned.

Join curator Garrett Barmore from the W.M. Keck Earth Science and Mineral Engineering Museum on the campus of the University of Nevada-Reno, as he explores and shares the collection of minerals, fossils, rocks, and mining history of the 113-year-old museum. Garrett will show students how museum professionals care for thousands of objects by sharing stories, objects, and answering questions.
